J.D. HOLMES and his wife, Varner,
have been married
42 years,
have
a son and a daughter, and have five
precious grandchildren. They live in
Fayetteville, GA
where JD
is the founder and director of the
Southern Nights Chorale.
JD's choral
experience started
as a charter
member of the
Chattanooga Boys Choir in 1954.
He
has sung in church choirs
and community
choruses his
entire life, and he sang
with the
Atlanta Symphony Orchestra
and Chorus under the direction of
Robert Shaw for
eleven
years. In his
non-musical
life, JD is a
Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP).
